The price of TON has recently experienced a significant correction, but it’s worth remembering that before this downturn, there was a rapid short-term rise that caught the attention of the entire crypto market. I believe that price corrections are an indispensable part of the market. PS: To punish CMC for yesterday’s mistake, DT decided to use CoinGecko’s charts for market updates from now on.
On April 19, 2024, it was officially announced that $USDT was implemented on TON, with the following three strategies launched:
Multiple USDT withdrawals to the TON network without gas fees,
Wallet Earn reward program, TON/USDT dual DEX Boost.
These three effective strategies thoroughly opened up TON’s path to glory. Following this, Notcoin, which had been promoted since last year, listed on a globally renowned exchange in May, pushing TON to a new peak. During this period, The Open League season also sparked a meme coin wave within the TON ecosystem, and TON itself was recently listed on the world’s largest exchange, Binance.
Meanwhile, Telegram’s integration with TON has been deepening:
- Launch of Telegram Stars
- Telegram Ads going live
- Channel revenue-sharing mechanism
- Improvements in Mini App stores and usage
- Built-in browser & multi-page mode
Although the official Boost rewards will continue until the end of the year, the decreasing reward amounts have led to a rapid decline in TVL, not to mention the recent community panic caused by Pavel Durov’s arrest.
Looking back at TON’s development this year, many milestones have been achieved. As someone who has been observing since 2021, these two events stand out the most:
- USDT on TON
- TON listed for spot trading on Binance
The integration between Binance and the TON ecosystem is also deepening, with NOT and DOGS being listed at their token generation event (TGE). Additionally, there are:
- TON LaunchPool (already concluded)
- TON Super Earn
- DOGS coin-based contracts
DT believe every market has its cycles; this is just the basic law of nature! Some prefer to buy in during uptrends, while others like to buy during downturns—it all depends on personal preference and style.
